By this time next year, you’ll have:
- Potent tools, rituals, and a rhythm you’ll return to again and again
- A Book of Sacred Keepings full of your reflection, reclamation, and becoming
- A grounded devotional practice built with your own hands
- Creative inspiration and confidence to keep conjuring, keep becoming, keep spellcrafting
Our 1st call is 10/30, just in time for Samhain – on the cusp of the Witches’ New Year. Potent.
The 12 Mysteries are Archetypes, each with their own Power – living at the heart of the mystic, witch, and priestess path.
I’ve worked with them for years, refined them, and now I’m sharing them with you.
The word mystic comes from the same root as mystery: one initiated into something that cannot be explained, only entered.
A Mystery doesn’t become real just by knowing of it. It becomes real when you cross the threshold to hold it, work with it, and embody it.
Each Archetype and her Power is revealed monthly; each is an initiation, a thread woven in and practiced through ritual, devotion, creating art, daily living, and your relationship with the elements we work with.
We will arrive at each Archetype in her season, move through it in our lunar rhythm, creative practice, and the potions we make.
DEFINITIONS
Animist [an·i·mist] (n); she who knows the magickal tools she works with — the salts, herbs, candles, waters, stones, servitors — are not inert objects but living beings with wisdom and will, each carrying its own energetic expression. She meets the tools of her craft as living beings in sacred reciprocity.
Mysticry [mis·tik·ree] (n); the art of being a mystic in a living, breathing, co-creative world, the practical magickal way.
Devotion [dih·voh·shun] (n); the steady, reciprocal tending that makes magick real. In the 12 Mysteries, devotion is showing up for the practice, the tools, the land, and yourself, month after month. Not performance. Not aesthetic. Practice.
Embodiment [em·bod·i·ment] (n); the practice of living a Power in your body, not just understanding it. In the 12 Mysteries, you embody each Archetype through ceremony, the potions you make with your own hands, and the small daily gestures that carry her into your life. What you once knew becomes who you are.
Archetype [ar·ki·type] (n); a living face of the mystic, witch, and priestess within you, each carrying her own Power. You meet her, work with her, and embody her over a full season through ritual, devotion, and the tools you make with your own hands. Not a role to play or a label to wear.
The Animist sees a living world. Mysticry is the art of living in it.
Devotion is the practice. Embodiment is what it becomes.
The Archetype is the face she wears, and the Power is what you carry out of the circle and into your life.
This is not a course you take and forget. It’s a year spent in relationship with the living world around you; each month another thread to weave into your spiritual, magickal & creative tapestry; the whole year is a spell, which becomes your work of art.
You’ll build something you can hold in your hands: a living, breathing apothecary, each piece made by you, in ceremony, in your personal devotion.
The kind where you say, “OOH, I have a potion for that!“
By the time the wheel turns back to Samhain, you won’t be the same Mystic who first stepped through the threshold.
You’ll have an embodied practice that’s entirely your own.
This is a year-long initiation through the wheel of the seasons, the lunar phases, and the sacred Mysteries at the heart of an animistic practice.
You will craft potions. Build altars. Make art as devotion. Tend ceremonies.
Be in ritual – working with salt, candle, oil, water, and spirit, one Archetype and her Power revealed each month as I introduce you to it.
You will practice Mysticry – the daily art of moving through the world in relationship with everything alive, guided by the Archetypes and their Powers.
Your practice easily becomes an intentional way of being.
Not performance. Not aesthetic. Practice.
Animism isn’t just reverence – it’s reciprocity.
Magick rooted in a living world means you don’t just take from the spirits, the elements, or the land.
You tend. You create. You commune. You give back.
There is an energetic exchange in every tool we use – salt, herbs, wax, water, stone, paints, and our accoutrements.
It’s not about what you get through magick. It’s being in connection, resonance, and co-creation with it.
The School of Mysticry is earth-based, animistic, and non-dogmatic.
You are the authority in your spiritual path; always, in all ways.
You’ve read the books, taken the courses, scrolled social media and the Google for hours. You got the crystals, the decks, the herbs, the paints, the wands. But the magick and creative inspiration feel flat – resistant, confusing, not flowing.
Here’s the truth: magick isn’t decoration. We’re in a time when ritual has become aesthetic performance without power: pretty rituals, yet they have hollow ground. But magick isn’t what you post on social media.
Magick is what shifts in your body, your field, your life, when you tend to yourself and the unseen with integrity.
It’s simply who you are.
This 12-month container is a reciprocal relationship with the year.
Each ceremony is a threshold to practice with, not get through. The magick you practice shifts as the earth shifts, because you’re learning to follow her lead, not your own agenda about what it “should” look like.
My mantra: Let it be easy. This isn’t a To-DO. It’s a To-BEcome.
The Universe responds to resonance and action — not passive wishing. Magick requires devotion. Creativity requires desire. We work in the realm of timeless over trendy, creative play over perfectionism.
What you make here is medicine for your soul💜

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What if I have to miss a live call?
No worries — every call is recorded and posted to a private YouTube playlist within 24 hours. While being live is always more potent (you get real-time energy, connection, and Q&A), you’ll never fall behind. Watch on your own time and still stay rooted in the practice.
I’m new to this — will I be lost?
Not at all. This is designed as a year-long initiation, meaning you’re meant to build gradually, month by month, as I introduce each Archetype and her Power to you. You don’t need prior experience — you just need a willingness to show up and practice.
I’ve been practicing for years — will this feel too basic?
The 12 Mysteries isn’t a beginner curriculum you “get through” — it’s a living, seasonal container that deepens the longer you’re in relationship with it. Whether you’re new or seasoned, the practice meets you where you are, because it’s rooted in your devotion, not a fixed skill level.
Do I need to buy special supplies?
A general supply list will be emailed within 24 hours of registration. Many items can be found around your home, in nature, or at thrift/dollar stores – this practice is designed to be as accessible as possible.
How much time will this actually take each month?
Two live calls per month (up to 2 hours each), plus whatever time you choose to spend with your own rituals, art-making, and Book of Sacred Keepings in between. This is designed to move with your real life — not demand a rigid schedule beyond the calls themselves.
I’m interested in the Wisdom Circle too
If you’re local to Utah, bundling the 12 Mysteries with the in-person Wisdom Circle (beginning February 2027) is something Mystics in Utah can choose to do, and each complements the other. I highly recommend it. Email me at LauriCox@SoulArtStudioUtah.com after registering, and I’ll share bundle pricing and a bonus.
What are the details for the Coven?
The Coven is a separate, deeper container for after you complete the 12 Mysteries, beginning October 2027. I’ll share more in the 12 Mysteries – not something to think about yet.
What if I need to cancel or change my mind?
Registration is final — no refunds, no cancellations, no exceptions. I ask that you register with care and full readiness for this year-long commitment, not as a trial to test out.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes — financing options are available directly at checkout
🪄We gather in the comfort of our own homes for Girls Night IN, so you can join from anywhere in the world
🪄There is a creative element to this experience to ignite the spirit of enjoying life = a connection to your highest self… who is an artist of the spirit
